What is Hire Ground HR?
Hire Ground HR is an HR consulting and advisory firm providing senior-level HR guidance to organizations that want thoughtful, compliant, and practical support—without building a full in-house HR department.
We work with leaders who want to make sound people decisions, strengthen their practices, and navigate complexity with clarity. Our focus is not volume or transactions, but judgment, consistency, and long-term outcomes.
How is your consulting approach different?
Rather than stepping in only when issues escalate, we support leaders proactively—helping them think through decisions early, align practices, and reduce the likelihood of costly or disruptive outcomes later.
We work as a trusted advisor—not a call center or reactive vendor—so leaders have someone they can turn to when questions come up. Over time, we build an understanding of your organization and your people, which allows us to provide guidance that’s both responsive in the moment and informed by the broader context.
What experience qualifies you to advise others?
Hire Ground HR brings more than two decades of combined leadership and operational experience across private, nonprofit, and public-sector organizations.
This includes hands-on supervisory and operational work supporting staffing, training, compliance, scheduling, workflow, and day-to-day people operations, as well as senior-level HR leadership in public-sector environments. Our background also includes advising on culture and organizational effectiveness, performance management and discipline frameworks, employee relations, and conflict resolution—working with leaders, managers, and employees at all levels.
We also bring experience supporting strategic planning and organizational decision-making by aligning workforce considerations, compliance, and risk with broader organizational goals.
Together, this experience informs practical, real-world HR guidance grounded in experienced judgment—not theory alone—and reflects the realities organizations face at different stages of growth.
What qualifications and credentials support your work?
Our work is guided by recognized professional credentials and ongoing education, including SPHR and SHRM-CP certifications, a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and executive-level leadership credentials.
We also participate in regular continuing education to remain current on employment law, compliance expectations, and evolving best practices.
How is consulting different from outsourced HR?
Outsourced HR typically focuses on administrative execution—handling tasks or acting on behalf of the employer in day-to-day HR operations. Hire Ground HR works differently.
We provide advisory guidance paired with practical deliverables, such as policy and procedure drafts, document and letter review, templates, forms, and performance tools. Our role is to help you think through decisions, strengthen your approach, and apply HR practices consistently and thoughtfully.
While we actively support the development of HR materials and processes, leadership retains ownership of implementation, final approval, and employment decisions. We do not function as an internal employee or administrative service. Instead, we partner with organizations to bring experience, structure, and judgment—supporting better decisions while preserving clear accountability and liability boundaries.
Is Hire Ground HR a replacement for in-house HR?
No. Our role is to help you think through decisions clearly—not to take them away from you.
Hire Ground HR complements leadership and existing teams by providing experienced HR guidance along with practical support such as document review and development, tools, and advisory resources.
We do not replace internal staff, management accountability, or decision-making authority. Final implementation, approval, and employment decisions always remain with the employer.
